Thanks for putting this up! I've been anxiously awaiting another inside synthesis. As always, a great review with insight and analysis instead of a repackaged press release. Keep up the good work!

It looks like Dave Smith is getting closer to the sonic territory ov the Pro~One with the MoPho.
Have you seen the engraving on the inside ov the MoPho yet? Check it out:Pro One II

I didn't realize you had posted a new review and it's been up for so long. My own fault for not setting up a feed. Great review, do keep em coming!

I haven't had the time to go and try this synth out for myself, but i think one should be able to get a wider range of sonic possibilies from the feedback function if you cut down on the amplitude of the sub oscillators, and/or perhaps change the saw wave to triangle. Deep frequencies are by nature very hungry for energy, as are sounds wich are rich on overtones. With an already massive solo sound, there won't be much room left for that sweet spot to expand into. Will try this out next time i need to visit the store.

Thanks for one of the most interesting and amusing music blogs i've read so far.

Hey William,

I found this video after through the referral in the new SonicState Tetra review. I watched for 5 seconds before realizing "Hey, it's a William H review!" I really enjoyed your early "how-to" videos, and am glad to see that you're still doing this. Keep up the good work!
